Top leaders frequently see strategy execution as the most critical issue facing their organizations today, yet recent results of CEO surveys, academic research and consultancy studies paint a dire portrait, with as much as 90% of companies consistently failing to effectively execute their strategies.

Poor operational and strategic decision-making are often cited as key contributors of weak strategy execution, resulting in as much as 70% of all strategic initiatives failing within their respective organizations.

Learn why so many firms struggle with strategy execution while others achieve breakthrough performance, foster the ability to better assess execution capability, understand the implications of and keys to effective strategy execution, and discover practical strategies to help generate alignment around effectively executing an organization’s strategy.

Outcomes and Impact

  • Understand best practices in strategic execution to improve your organization’s likelihood of achieving breakthrough performance.
  • Identify your organization’s strengths and weaknesses in the four key areas of execution.
  • Apply strategy mapping to your organization by identifying the key challenges and metrics at four different levels: (a) financial, (b) customer, (c) internal capability, and (d) people.
  • Apply the organization architecture model to your own organization by identifying the core processes, systems, talent pools/position and skills set that activate core capabilities and drive customer value.
